Meet Fred, Fred is a 1966 split-screen panel van. Based in Byron Bay, Fred is ready and able to be a part of your marketing promotions or advertising campaigns. The unique style of the classic VW split-screen kombi offer them perfectly for promotional use, advertising photo shoots, television commercials and shows, feature films or anything you want them to be.
About Fred:
Fred is certainly a vehicle that shows VW history – 51 years of history to be precise. With Fred the owners have specifically chosen to maintain Fred’s aged look and not respray with a pristine showroom finish. Instead Fred features his original vintage paint finish, which lends himself perfectly for any wrap-decal projects for your promotional requirements.
Fred is what we call a Rat Look (in the VW community) and whilst some may say there is a fine line between a Rat Look and a rusty heap that needs more love… well we can definatley say that there is much love here for Fred, it is just the owners choice to maintain this history and aged look of this classic iconic vehicle.
Weddings: Fred has also driven groomsmen kombi style during weddings and is a popular vehicle with the boys, however with a panel van there are no rear windows but don’t let that deter you as this handsome Kombi is perfect for all types of events and is a real show-stopper.
